Welcome to North Idaho Christian School |
North Idaho Christian School is a ministry of the Hayden Lake Evangelical Friends Church. Now in its 26th year, NICS serves students in grades one through twelve. There are 260 students enrolled, served by a staff of 28 born-again Christians who love their Lord and the children they serve.
NICS exists to equip students to positively impact their world by encouraging students to pursue an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, and by engaging students intellectually through the liberal arts and sciences, to develop, to live, and to defend a Biblical Christian worldview.
Our primary mission is to train up Christian leaders, young people of integrity, who will serve God and man in whatever setting God places them as young adults. NICS offers its students daily Bible class, weekly chapels, spiritual retreats and ministry oriented community service.

Hello & Welcome
 We are delighted that you are visiting the North Idaho Christian School web site to learn first hand what NICS has to offer your family.
Our site is intended to provide you information regarding our mission, goals, academics and programs. We believe in a strong partnership with parents and church, with the primary responsibility of a child's education resting squarely upon the parents. At North Idaho Christian School our mature faculty and staff are committed to helping students develop into young people of integrity and leadership. While NICS offers a broad range of rigorous academic courses, students also participate in a rich student life that encourages fun, leadership, Christian principles for serving others, and fellowship.
